The Office of Internet Security<\/a> (OSI), under the National Institute of Cybersecurity<\/a>, has warned of an alleged scam consisting of calls that impersonate the agency <\/strong>to make charges to users through Bizum<\/strong>. A fraudulent call is received from a supposed Social Security official with the excuse of returning an amount of money, for example, for having dependent children or maternity. Sometimes the reason is not detailed. The communication requires the use of Bizum because the cybercriminal sends the user a notification through it. <\/strong>The sender may even appear as TGSS, to give greater credibility. The deception comes when the request that is received is not for a payment, but is a collection request<\/strong>. If the person does not realize it and accepts it, a charge will be made. <\/p>\n
